“The remodeled Cutters Crabhouse by the Pike Place Market offers great views not to be missed!” – The Seattle Times
Not wanting to abandon its history but realizing the need for an update, Bar Napkin Productions began with simply an update of the logo and the name. To emphasize the change as well as the culinary focus, Cutters became Cutters Crabhouse. The new logo brings in a fresh orange color that is reminiscent of the color of cooked crabs. It uses clean and simple typography that is accented by the modest script of “crab house” which seamlessly connects to a thin border surrounding the logo. The fresh new logo is also implemented into the exterior neon signage.
The graphics package extends into menus, menu vehicles, sushi order menus tablets, collateral pieces, uniforms and artwork. The signature orange is carried throughout and is balanced with a chalkboard grey background that refers to the chalkboard used in the fresh “shell bar.”
Custom artwork was created to bring focus to the freshness of the offerings using hand drawn fish art with related classic thoughtful quotes.
