I had the wonderful opportunity earlier this year to meet Louis Schwartzberg while attending a summit with Hospitality Design magazine. Louis is considered the pioneer in time-lapse cinematography and is the only cinematographer in the world who has been shooting time-lapse film 24 hours a day, 7 days a week continuously for over three decades. His award winning films include work with Disney and National Geographic.
When I met Louis, he shared one of his most recent projects “The Beauty of Pollination" which showcases the importance of pollination and the exquisite process through the eyes of bees, bats, hummingbirds and, of course….. butterflies. Words do not do this piece justice. You need to see this for yourself.
““I hope my films inspire and open people’s hearts. Beauty is nature’s tool for survival – you protect what you love. If I can move enough people on an emotional level, I hope we can achieve the shift in consciousness we need to sustain and celebrate life.” - Louis Schwartzman
