As MFW comes to a close and PFW starts up I wanted to share some of my favorite looks from this year's runway.
BLACK & WHITE
Bold Black and White looks also appeared at MFW, confirming this look to be a must-have for the Spring 2016 season!
Philipp Plein created his Spring 2016 Collection as a reaction to our reliance on machines. Plein used robots to equip the models as they proceeded on a conveyor belt down the catwalk. The machines handed them their accessories. Full of punk-inspired fashions of black and white looks this collection is both bold and edgy.
The Spring 2016 Collection for Costume National by designer Ennio Capasa focuses on exceptional tailoring and a streamlined color palette. This season however there is a softness and a more feminine sensibility than previous collections.
Both Nautical and Tropical Inspired looks made their way to the MFW Runway.
Full of Nautical-Inspired motifs such as stars, stripes and navy, the Max Mara Spring 2016 Collection by creative director Ian Griffiths is a classic.
The Spring 2016 Collection for Emilio Pucci is full of mixing colors, patterns and textures. One dominant motif within the collection is sea life patterns and prints inspired by the seaside, the birthplace of Pucci.
Gucci's Spring 2016 Collection is full of nautical motifs. From navy and red striped accents and ribbon to printed map skirts and tropical prints, this collection is reinvented vintage.
