Air flights meet beer flights. Bar Napkin Productions, working with Restaurants Unlimited, has reinterpreted the Historic Henry’s Tavern, a Portland Pearl District original, for the Portland International Airport. The airport location is complete with 30 beers on tap and a signature frost rail that keeps guests beer glasses chilled. The design is a contemporary, urban interpretation of the turn of the original’s last century industrial warehouse architectural style, mixing honey gold colors with aged brick walls, wood floors, tin ceiling, leather seating, dark wood and exquisite lighting details. An entire passenger walkway wall is stacked three-high with the exposed chilling kegs behind classic glass and wood doors complete with historic door handles.
