Haley Balzano is a founding owner of Bar Napkin Productions. Her 20 years experience in architecture and interior design has been recognized in numerous publications and media outlets across the country. Balzano leads her agency to not just think out of the box, but encourages them to create mindful art that is centered on a philosophy where attention to detail is honored.
She continues to be a driving force and expert in restaurant, hotel, retail store, and entertainment venue design. Recently, Balzano added interior football stadium design to her list.
In 2017, Balzano collaborated with the Arizona Cardinals organization to create the first major interior upgrades to the University of Phoenix Stadium since its inception. The focal point of the design features a mixture of luxury and state of the art technology. The ongoing project will also include improvements, and is set to be complete in time for the 2018 NFL season.
Prior to kicking off her design career, Balzano graduated with a BA in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon with a minor in Architectural History. Her creative passion and precise execution are evident in numerous notable and award winning projects such as N9NE Steakhouse, Planet Hollywood, The Palms Casino & Resort, Hotel Valley Ho and Hyatt’s historic Royal Palms Resort & Spa. Balzano has also been honored as a “Boutique Design BD 18 Forward Thinker,” including being featured in Interior Design Magazine, Hospitality Design and in the book Best of Hospitality Design – Architecture and Interiors. Most recently, she was named "Woman Of The Year" by The Phoenix Business Journal.
Balzano is a registered architect in a dozen states and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Networking Hospitality (NEWH). She actively participates in a variety of panels, juries, roundtables and industry events nationwide.
Recently, she launched, H-A-L-E.com, an online platform dedicated to empowering women in the creative industry. With a growing following, H-A-L-E.com gives its readers an in-depth look at Balzano's key eye for design, personal journey, as well as highlighting stories of other creative and inspirational women.
Jeffrey Rausch is a founding owner of Bar Napkin Productions. He is considered one of the most respected talents in the design industry today. With an international profile of hospitality and commercial clients, Rausch’s style is always fresh, innovative, and centered around the idea that design is not just about a thought provoking aesthetic, but rather a vessel to communicate a creative storytelling experience.
With over 35 years of award-winning design, marketing and management experience, Jeffrey has gained national recognition as an expert with his involvement in over 1,000 hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, bars, and live-act venues around the world.
Rausch’s projects include many branding and prototype concepts, including Coldstone Creamery, Phillips Seafood, and the original P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. His extensive hospitality experience spans the country with nationally recognized designs for Marriott, Hilton, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Iron Chef award-winner, Mark Tarbell’s Restaurant and the venerable Merc Bar.
Most recently, he partnered with Harkin’s Theatres to develop a fresh and cutting edge movie-going experience that is being rolled out nationwide. His keen eye and creativity are showcased in a one-of-a-kind bespoke reincarnation for Harkins Camelview Theatre, their longest running theater and historic namesake.
In addition, Rausch is also the past-president and founder of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Southwest Chapter. He is also a founding member of the Interior Designer’s Coalition of Arizona (IDCA). He has been a Master Juror for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, a member of the Advisory Panel for Sources & Design Magazine, a frequent speaker at universities and national conferences, and also a twenty-year member of the Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix, having served with Executive Council and Board of Directors.
